If this had the 2009+ CIC iDrive, it would already be in my driveway. I dream of owning a pre-LCI E90 M3, but I’d only have one with with a retrofitted CIC or no iDrive. Kindly said, the CCC iDrive is a fucking piece of shit.

I believe it is a pain in the ass to retrofit that idrive. The idrive was one of the reasons I wanted a 2009+ car.

This is true, but I would argue given the tech, luxury, etc. and lower miles that it is double the value. I didn’t even realize they continued to offer the 6MT on the 2013+ cars.

As much as I love the LED taillights of the LCI E90, 10 year old me wanted a 2008 E90 M3 in Silverstone Metallic over Black Novillo Extended Leather with the style 22o wheels and the M-DCT. I also wanted it without iDrive. The pre-LCI E90 will always have a special place in my heart (not just because of the option of Arctic Metallic).

18 year old me wanted a white one with a six speed and well you can see how that worked out for me. Only problem is when you’re looking for a car they only made 1055 of, it’s hard to be picky.

Walked past one of these last night and commented on it being a nice car, and my wife said, “Ugh, you like the stripe down the side?” I did not see a stripe . . . I think she was talking about the character line. :o

I’ll stick with the German-engineered car with questionable reliability that I already have.
